March 5 a stand up day

Yes, you read it right: Leslie stood up today for the first time since Jan 27. All in all it was a day of firsts. We had lunch outside int he beautiful warm sun. Leslie and Alice and I played some cards (trying to help pass the time until the PT was available for Leslie's session.) I watched her get out of bed and into her wheelchair and I was pleasantly surprised at her strength and determination. Leslie does not think she will be ready for Herrick this week and we will have to see how that goes. I know when she feels strong enough, she will want to move out of Elmwood to Herrick which will be the step before HOME. She is in need of visitors after 4pm, so call and sign up for a visit time. Leslie's cel is back working, so you can call her and let her know when you can come. Keep those cards a comin;
