May 22 A Good Day!

Dear Leslie-lovers, I had the honor of being with Leslie today and she was amazing. After arriving at St. Mary's on Friday and being out of it for a couple days she is getting less medication and doing much better. She walked quite a bit today and was able to accomplish her therapies with flying colors. Tomorrow the team meets to discuss how long it will take Leslie to finish adequate rehab and be discharged home. I am very pleased with St. Mary's rehab personnel and it only took me 30 minutes from Leslie and Ray's home in Berkeley. (and we even hit traffic crossing the bridge) So don't be shy - go and visit her. I do think the late afternoons/early evenings are best because she is kept fairly busy all day with various therapies. Ray is going out of town Saturday for a week, so it will be important to have some other visitors. Please give me a call so we can spread you out over the week. Thanks.
