From Leslie and those who have been with her today comes this report: "She is hanging in there." I think she is experiencing a great deal of frustration of the present situation (pain and lack of mobility and independence) and fears of the future rehab process. Her voice is getting stronger. She dreads PT because of the pain. Tonight she'll try a sleeping pill and see if that helps. Visits are needed and welcome. In fact we are posting a calendar in her room so that visitors will not necessarily overlap but be spread out over the day and evening. So now is the time, com' on down and uplift her spirits and encourage her with lots of love and kindness. She may be moving to Alta Bates soon. Will keep you posted. She is now in TCU 16. Pray for peace in her heart and healing in her bones. Love you all.
